Patient Participation Group (PPG)

The Practice is a member of the North Derbyshire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) and all member practices are required to invite practice patients to become involved in a group to offer a patients perspective on practice and wider NHS issues.

The practice has a Patient Participation Group under the Chairmanship of Ann Hillyeard.

We are very grateful to Ann and all members of the PPG who helped at the Flu Sessions; distributed Feedback Forms, (as well as tea and biscuits) and met with the CQC Inspectors during their visit.

If you are a patient and would like to attend and be involved in the PPG please contact the practice.

About our Patient Participation Group (PPG)

It is very important that patients have an opportunity to participate in what we do and how services may be developed in the future. Our PPG which is well established and usually meets on a quarterly basis, enables this to happen.

At these meetings staff share details of what is going on within the practice and with local and national NHS initiatives and invite feedback and input from patients.

In addition, the PPG continues to be involved in gathering more extensive patient feedback, usually in the form of questionnaires, in wider communication through newsletters and the internet and other initiatives where the practice asks for their help. The practice highly values this assistance.

If you want to learn more about how a GP practice works and help us develop and improve our services please consider becoming a member of our PPG.  All you need to be is a patient at Stubley Medical Centre.

If you are interested please contact us at the practice or email the chair of the PPG Ann Hillyeard on ann.hillyeard@talktalk.net
